Roles and responsibilities
  • The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize IT infrastructure-related projects of various sizes and complexities according to strict requirements, deadlines, and defined budgets. Description:
Work as a key member of the core support team for a major health insurance customer
Required Skills:
  • Strong proficiency with MS-SQL (queries, SPs)
  • Good knowledge of Database Joins, SP, Indexes, Performance tuning, Partition etc.
  • Knowledge of best practices when dealing with relational databases
  • Knowledge of SSIS, and SSRS
  • Exposure to projects in the Insurance sector will be an advantage
  • Adept at picking up new technologies for ETL and data store
Role and Responsibilities
  • Execute regular jobs and check for successful completion of such jobs
  • Write optimized queries, views and triggers
  • Optimize large complicated SQL statements
  • Troubleshoot common database issues
  • Troubleshoot complex SPs
  • Collaborate with other team members and client stakeholders
  • Handle common database procedures (upgrade, backup/recovery, migration, etc).
  • Manage a team of support resources
